‎"Bharat Jyoti Award" was honoured to Dr. A. Amsath by the India International Friendship Society (IIFS) in New Delhi on 11th November 2011. The award was presented to Dr. A. Amsath in recognition of his meritorious services, outstanding performance and remarkable role in the field of higher education by the former governor of Tamil Nadu, Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh.
